Southpaw Marvelous Marvin Hagler turned orthodox in the second round and staggered Willie “The Worm” Monroe with a leaping left hook.

Monroe quickly clinched. After the referee separated the fighters, Hagler dropped Monroe in a neutral corner with a right cross to the chin.

When Monroe attempted to regain his feet, he staggered around the ring and the referee stopped the fight.
