John Pretto is an accomplished, innovative and entrepreneurial technologist with over 20 years of senior management experience in information technology, marketing and operations.
John has enjoyed more than twenty-five years at the helm of some of the tech world’s best, brightest, and most revolutionary businesses.
Part of the late ’90s Internet revolution, John co-founded HelloNetwork.com, Inc.—a Wall Street financed start-up which received over $70 million in funding—producing easy-to-use media streaming applications.
Multi-award winning HelloNetwork.com was named “eCompany of the Year” in 2001 and produced hundreds of streaming events, including coverage of the PGA Tour.
Next, he joined SmartConnect, Inc. as Vice President of Technology, before moving to comF5, Inc., a publicly traded integrated communications and marketing solutions company, as Chief Operating Officer.
A subsequent appointment saw him undertake the role of Chief Technology Officer at enterprise content management provider R66T Digital Media, LLC.
The Las Vegas, Nevada native is also credited with attracting QuizUp.com’s first 11 million users, wherein which it became the world’s largest online quiz competition website.
Today, John—a frequent lecturer and public speaker—is partner and co-founder of Social SEO Marketing, LLC, a full-service Internet marketing organization catering to all aspects of digital and online presence.
He also runs NetLeaders, a technology company which markets and licenses specialty software solutions to businesses and individuals.
